FRANCESCA PEZZOTTI
ABOUT ME

I am a designer from Mexico City currently based in Stockholm, where I am completing an MA in Design Ecologies at Konstfack. My practice moves between industrial design, material research, furniture design , and visual storytelling.
My work is driven by an interest in environmental transitions, regenerative systems, and the narratives embedded within materials and landscapes. Through research, experimentation, and making, I explore themes connected to forest ecologies, food systems, temporality, and changing relationships between humans and other- than humans.
Before moving to Sweden, I graduated as valedictorian from the Industrial Design program at Universidad Iberoamericana. My educational background also includes studies in Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design and Design Foundations and Furniture Design at RISD.
I have been an intern in studios and organizations including Fernando Laposse Studio and Noma Projects and collaborated with companies like PaperShell. My practice combines speculative thinking with physical experimentation, often situated at the intersection of design, art and research.
My work has been exhibited internationally, including at Zona Maco and during Stockholm Design Week, and featured in publications such as Dezeen, SVT, and Euronews.
